Ji-Q

Ji-Q is one of the artists I met here in Queens, NY. Astoria to be specific. Before I learned he was making music I’d just see him around the way. Around me he’s been a quiet person. Very low key.

I’ve seen him continue to put energy and effort in developing and shaping what it is he looks to present. I admire that tremendously. The songs continue to get better. The bars and the beats feel like they are leading you somewhere.

My man’s desire to do this thing the right way stands out just as much as the progress he’s making.

The irony is that as low key he is, there is a bravado there in plain sight. GIve him a spin!

Maybe it’s a Queens thing…
